Mill Steel

Mill Steel is defined as steel without treatment. Same as “black steel”. It means that no surface finish was treated on the steel. Usually anti-corrsion elements will be added on mill steel to protect it against corrosive area where it will be installed.

Hot Dip Galvanized Steel

Hot Dip Galvanized Steel is formed in the process of coating iron and steel with a layer of zinc by immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 840 °F (449 °C). With hot dip galvanizing treatment, the pre-fabricated steel’s surface is totally covered with zinc coat.

Similar as other corrosion protection systems, hot dip galvanizing prevents steel away from corrosion, and acts like a barrier between steel and the atmosphere.

Besca’s hot dip galvanized products are able to work well in outdoor conditions for years.since their coating standard meets AS/NZS4680:2006, which offers them protection for long time in most outdoor or industrial environments.

Pre Galvanized Steel

Pre Galvanized Steel are mill steels that have been treated with hot dip galvanized finish before they are manufactured into steel products.

Pre Galvanized Products are suitable for indoor, dry, normal or mildly corrosive environments, with zinc coating 1/3 of hot dip galvanized zinc coating. They have clean looks and works well especially in indoor area.

Stainless Steel Grade 304

Stainless steel differs from carbon steel by the amount of chromium present. Grade 304 is durable and anti-corrosion, and is generally suitable for use in manufacturing applications. By using Stainless Steel 304, the material prevents further surface corrosion by blocking oxygen diffusion to the steel surface and prevents corrosion from spreading into the metal's internal structure.

Stainless Steel Grade 316

Stainless Steel Grade 316 performs better corrosion resistance than Grade 304 and it contains an additional 2% molybdenum for higher corrosion resistance.

When concerned for long lasting service life of anti-corrosion, Grade 316 is the first choice. It is suitable for food and chemical manufacturing plants, marine environments and polluted atmospheres.

Zinc Plated Steel

Zinc Plated Steel is utilized for steel products with a coating of zinc. Different from galvanizing, the zinc coating thickness is less than galvanizing and it does not metalurgically bond with the steel. However, it is still a good option for small products like fasteners. It offers an overall coating and obtains smoothie and shiny clean appearance.

Powder Coated Steel

Powder Coated Steel allows products specify themselves in a colored way, which helps construction in a perfect visual way in a construction project. The steel are covered with strong yet smooth coating with different colors. Besca offers all colors of powder coating cable trays.
